No, unfortunately, your fur family member(s) will have to stay behind.
Day guests are not allowed for any portion of time during your stay. Only guests who have rented a Cottage are allowed to enjoy Driftwood Cove Cottages.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own watercraft but you must inform Driftwood Cove Cottages, if you are bringing any motorized watercraft so you can be given special instructions for the ramp, dock, trailer parking, and information about the Lake.
Fires are only allowed in the 2 firepit areas to the far left of the property, as you face the lake. However, you must check the Llano County burn ban status at co.llano.tx.us before burning in the firepits. You are welcome to burn any of the driftwood that you find on the property.
We prefer that you clean your fish off premise. Do NOT clean your fish inside the Cottage. However, if you choose to clean your fish onsite, then you can use the dock or on the lakefront area in front of the firepits. Please do not throw the fish carcass back in the water because it will wash right back on the lakefront. Use a garbage bag and tie it off tightly before putting it in one of trash cans at the front of the property. Do not throw any fish related garbage in the trash inside your Cottage. Please use the lake water to rinse off the area where you cleaned your fish.
J & S Quick Stop, which is a small grocery and hardware store, is 2.3 miles away. You can buy ice & get propane there. Bluffton Store is approximately 5 miles away at intersection of Hwy. 261 & 2241.
We are in the process of painting the exteriors of the Cottages.
